In 2010 following the disasterous flooding of Pakistan our Chairman, Amjad Bashir, travelled to the country to help distribute food and aid. Amjad had been just one of a number of local businessmen from across Yorkshire and Lancashire that had been moved to form a fund-raising comittee to raise funds to help the victims of the flood. This experience had a profound effect on Amjad and his family and together they decided that it was not enough to help only in the face of disaster, they want to make a postive contribution to helping people at home and abroad every day.
In light of this experience Zouk is pleased to have founded The Zouk Charitable Trust and the company has made a commitment to raise funds on a continued basis to help charities both locally and globally. Keep visiting our website for news of fundraising events and to learn how you can get involved.
