Manchester Cookery Class Dates 2016
Looking to learn how to make authentic Indian cuisine at home? Our exciting new cookery school promises to teach you how to recreate some of your favourite dishes, with hands on practical tuition and a step by step guide to follow at home with plenty of recipes and tips. Zouk’s cooking classes in our Manchester restaurant on Chester Street are designed to share the secret of our success with curry enthusiasts by offering half day courses in Indian and Pakistani cuisine.
Our Zouk Managing Director, Tayub Amjad told us what to expect; The people who come to our cookery school are at all stages and levels of cooking ability, from the novice to the trained chef, we welcome them all. We particularly enjoy sharing some of our tips and skills with individuals who share our passion for food, and want to expand their skills into Asian cuisine. On the cooking course you learn how to prepare and cook two starters, two main courses, a rice side dish and either a nann or roti bread. To make the course as interesting as possible and very hands on, every participant gets to marinate the food, prepare the ingredients and cook the dishes.”
Creative Director Mudassar Amjad added The dishes are chosen to give people an idea of the different herbs and spices, their properties and the taste they infuse. At the end of the cooking everybody sits down to share the food and enjoy what they have prepared and cooked. They also get a pack to take away with ingredients and methods so they can recreate the dishes at home, along with a help line number should they have any difficulties when back in their home kitchen.
