All the Tricks & Treats for Halloween in Manchester 2016
Double, double, toil & trouble! The clocks are going back on Sunday 30th October and Halloween is almost upon us, as the days get shorter and the winter nights draw in, it’s time to get an action packed plan together! Here’s 7 spooky steps to the perfect Halloween in Manchester and as a special TREAT, if you book your Christmas part before 31st October, the organiser will get a free bottle of wine when quoting code HOX16 when booking.
1 – Dress up
Ah do I have to? Ohhhh go on then! No need to fake it, Halloween is THE time when you’re allowed to dress up completely crazy and everyone will applaud! Forget the usual witch/devil get up and channel Jemima Khan with a kick ass and politically incorrect Donald Trump outfit.

For guys, nothing’s spookier than a back from the dead Jon Snow. We’re all for equality at Zouk, so dead, half dead, full on zombie, complete skeleton…we’ll still feed you 😉
2 – Eat up
Halloween and snacks go together like curry and naan bread 😉 To celebrate All Hallows’ Eve try our Lamb with Pumpkin & Coconut throughout October. This delicious lamb curry is made with seasonal pumpkin and flavoured with ginger, coconut & spices. As Mary Berry would say ‘sheer perfection.’ Click here to book.
3 – Get out
The whole of Manchester is lighting up in ghoulish colours for Halloween and there’s a Zombie walk planned – take a look at our friends over on Manchester Evening News on where to watch it.
4 – Watch it
Like to stay in and get a red hot takeaway? Order a Zouk hot curry and watch a classic like…err Halloween? Or Nightmare on Elm Street? Or if you have kids, how about – movie marathon of all seven Harry Potter films and dive for cover when ‘he who shall not be named’ appears on screen! Expelliarmus!
5 – Drink it
We’re choosing a robust red wine as an appropriate Halloween style treat or go for a blood red cocktail like our Red Velvet all mixed up by our experts.
6 – Bust some dance moves
Take it to the dance floor like Michael Jackson in Thriller at the Spooktacular Halloween Ball on 29th October – it’s all for charity. Extra points for killer dance moves! Take a look at the iconic video here:
7 – Have a ball
Did you know that Zouk can cater your party? Yep, speak to our Manchester Manager about your Halloween party and we can bring fiery food to you! Take a look here for catering. Or if you are planning a party and looking for a location, our VIP booths on our terrace can be booked for groups so get in touch if we can help.
Happy Halloween folks.
